puttering in the shed

from the top of the loft looking down apon a 3 point buck that jimmy shot behind the house. it stays cool in the shed all day and gives it a chance to cure. i know if your not a hunter this will look rather grotest to you. hung from the neck tell dead/. but if it is raining or worm out side the meat might spoil. i cut the meat up in this shed this just gives me a place to work without freezeing and getting wet.
the old man and his shed.think he would buy a new hat.

before the white paint went on. here you can see recycled lumber from the old garage i had for almost 30 years. i bought the lumber from the Amish on the east road. hauled it home in the back of a station wagon.
i still cannot figure out how to get the pics to go towards the bottom but i guess i will have to settle with it this way. but i,d like to start with where i left off. first is last and last is first are ya with me on this. by scrolling down you can see where i,m coming from or where i,v been. you might not be lost but i am. are we still talking about puttering? i hope so but when it comes to being a professional putterer you have to first be a pro at procrastinating. a thinker, and love to do what ever your mind tells you to do. ya got to be a night person and love to sleep by day. and it helps being a shift worker, one who never gets back on track. his digestive systems always messed up and he is always running around with a sleep deffaset.

finaly i got the pipe to go with the stove in the shed. only cost me 74 bucks . and i didn,t have to much trouble putting it up but it wasn,t easy. then i couldn,t wait to pop some wood in it and light it up even though it was hot out doors,. i started with some dry ceder for kindling .

no leaks . tight as a drum . works pretty good. could of fried an egg on the top in about ten minutes. theres a screen that goes in the front so you can use it like a fire place. thanks worn .the boys will like it when they come up to hunt. i built a loft in the front part of the shed . i can fit up there but i don,t know if Jim can. it should hold him if he doesn,t get to rambunctious. whatever that means. i might try it out tonight. i left the porch light on so i can find my way out there in the dark. ya got to love it . but i wish it were back in the woods . not in the front yard. i guess i could rent it out as a hunting camp and let them hunt the back 40.

i hate it when theres a large space between pics i do not know how to stop this so i will have to fill in the spaces like this.

guess you could call me a professinal putterer, if theres such a thing . i love to putter. i go from one thing to anouther. today i worked on some shelves , cleaning out old stuff i don,t need. it is hard to through out anything. i cut up some wood out behind the shed. the boys will be up from caralina and will want to run the stove but first i better buy a stove pipe. guess i will have to show you my shed. wood shop, home away from home . dog house. whatever .
this is the front and the way it looks now but it didn,t always look this way. as you can see from the next pic. it started out as a place for the 4 wheelers but my brother-in-law kept adding on to it. before long he had it looking like a camp. he had all his tools in there. and used my power to run his saws and compresser. i would go out there and putter once in a while but that all ended last fall. he wanted out and i gave him what he thought he had into it. now it is mine. and the way i want it to be. it is only 50 yards from the house. i have underground power going to it for light and a drill, ect.

welcome to the inside of my shed, my play house, wood shop, as you can see i brightened it up a little . easier on the eyes.

and when your cutting up a deer it needs to be bright. i also am a carver but haven,t been carveing to much this year becouse i had a caterac taken off one eye. and still have anouther. but got to get back into it soon.before i loose my edge if i haven't all ready. my rideing lawn mower looks small in it,s new home.

gives me a good place to work on it when it,s broke and it's raining out side. god knows a man never has enough tools. most of mine are old and have no special tools but i can work on most everything.

still need some white paint but it,s getting there.

with the new front doors i can park the tractor out there and have plenty of room to work. still pretty cluttered but an excelent place to putter.glad you could stop in and look at my play pen. i know it,s not a fany place but it is mine and thats what matters the most. you all come back now ya hear.
